NewTom X-PSP VET – veterinary digital radiography system
NewTom X-PSP VET is a CR (Computed Radiography) system for veterinary X-ray diagnostics using reusable phosphor plates. It combines digital imaging technology with the flexibility of traditional X-ray plates. The compact scanner quickly scans exposed plates and transfers digital images to a computer or iPad in seconds.
The system is suitable for intraoral, extraoral and orthopedic examinations of small anatomical areas. Five phosphor plate sizes can be used, and a resolution of up to 34 pixels/mm ensures detailed diagnostic images.
Characteristics
NewTom X-PSP VET allows the use of reusable phosphor plates that are thin, flexible, and easy to position. They can be used for examining the oral cavity, limbs, and other small anatomical areas of animals.
After the X-ray examination, the plate is placed in the scanner. The system automatically recognizes its size, scans the image and transfers it to the computer. The resulting images can be viewed, saved, shared, printed or sent by email using the NNT software or another compatible image viewing program.
Tools
NewTom X-PSP VET phosphor plates have a special phosphor and magnetic layer. The magnetic layer speeds up the scanning process and automatically initiates the imaging sequence. The plate size is automatically recognized using AUTO-READ technology.
APT filters
NewTom ApT (Adaptive Picture Treatment) technology uses special image processing algorithms adapted to phosphor plates. Up to five differently processed images can be obtained during each scan, highlighting different anatomical details.

NNT software
NNT software enables the use of advanced image processing filters in Adaptive MultiVision mode. It is designed for the acquisition, analysis, processing and storage of diagnostic images in a patient database.

AUTO-READ technology
The system automatically recognizes the size of the phosphor plate and removes it from its protective case, protecting it from light and direct contact with hands. The scanned image is transferred to the computer and the plate data is erased so that it can be used for another study.

Ergonomics
NewTom X-PSP VET is designed to ensure convenient use and efficient workflow in the veterinary clinic. The LED indicator above the plate insertion slot allows real-time monitoring of the device's operating status.
Adaptive Multi-User Technology (aMUT) and Ethernet connectivity ensure fast and secure image transfer to a local computer or server. The system allows the scanner to be reserved from another workstation, and scanned images are automatically saved to a pre-selected patient card in the NNT software.
The scanner can be placed on a workbench or mounted on a wall. Flexible phosphor plates provide a wide range of positioning options, and the ECO DOSE function allows you to obtain quality images with a lower X-ray dose.
