HELIX TESTS – sterilization control tool for autoclave

Helix tests designed for monitoring the sterilization process of Class B and S autoclaves. They help assess the removal of air from the sterilizer chamber and the penetration of steam into narrow channels and cavities similar to those found in hollow instruments.

How does the Helix test work?

During the test, the indicator is exposed to the conditions of the sterilization cycle. The steam must penetrate through the Helix system tube and reach the chemical indicator at its end. After the cycle, the color change of the indicator is evaluated according to the manufacturer's instructions.
