NewTom DCiS VET – wireless veterinary visiograph
NewTom DCiS VET is a digital wireless intraoral X-ray sensor for animal dental and oral cavity diagnostics. The sensor uses Direct Conversion technology, which directly converts X-rays into an electrical signal without the use of scintillators. This allows for high-resolution images with excellent contrast and reduces the patient's X-ray dose.
The compact body, rounded edges and wireless data transfer ensure convenient use of the sensor. Images are transferred to a computer via a docking station, which is also used to charge the sensor.
Direct Conversion technology
Direct Conversion technology converts X-rays directly into an electrical signal without the use of scintillators. This results in high-resolution images with excellent contrast and reduces the radiation dose to the patient.

Ergonomic design and cordless operation
The sensor’s slim and compact body with rounded edges makes it easy to position in the animal’s mouth. Wireless operation provides more freedom of movement, and Adaptive Multi-User Technology allows one docking station to be used with multiple sensors or to pair one sensor with different workstations.

Docking station and additional accessories
The docking station receives X-ray images in real time and acts as a charging base for the sensor. It can be placed on a workbench or mounted on a wall. Special positioning brackets help to precisely align the sensor and X-ray source, reducing the possibility of image acquisition errors.

Image analysis tools
The software comes with special image filters that allow you to customize diagnostic images to suit your research needs.
- High Contrast: highlights anatomical structures by increasing image contrast.
- High Details: improves the visibility of the smallest anatomical details.
- Soft Tissue Preservation: helps preserve the visibility of soft tissues and prevent their translucency.
- Caries Revealing: intended for bitewing examinations, helps to highlight interdental caries.
