SafeBeam™
The SafeBeam™ technology developed and patented by NewTom automatically adjusts the radiation dose to the patient's anatomical features in the selected examination area, thus avoiding exposure to an unnecessarily high dose. A unique feature that allows GO 2D/3D to control radiation power and intensity and obtain clear and detailed 2D and 3D images regardless of the patient's bone dimensions and density.
ECO CEPH
Considering the nature of the cephalometric examination, which is often applied in cases of pedodontics,
NewTom has developed a protocol that minimizes the dose of X-rays that the patient is exposed to. Scan time is limited to 3.7 seconds, so the patient receives minimal X-ray exposure and an extremely short time in the device. In addition to scanning mode, longer ear protectors protect the child's thyroid gland from unnecessary exposure during the examination.
ECO SCAN AND ADAPTIVE FOV
Always concerned about patient health, NewTom was the first to use pulsed emission with CBCT technology applied to dental imaging, significantly reducing the radiation dose emitted during 3D examinations. The implementation of the 3D ECO SCAN protocol (extremely fast scanning of only 6.4 seconds and only 1.6 seconds of actual emission time) is the ideal solution for follow-up examinations after surgery and for all situations where the X-ray dose needs to be maintained. to a minimum. Instead, the 3D aFOV (adaptive FOV) feature allows you to limit the size of the irradiated anatomical area to adapt to the different morphologic features of adults and children, or simply perform slice examinations up to 6 x 6 cm FOV, with a minimum effective dose of 9 µSv in ECO mode.
ECO PAN AND VARIABLE COLLIMATION
GO 2D/3D offers several PAN software options with variable collimation for adults and children for dental-only imaging and bitewing images.
The ECO PAN protocol enables extremely fast scanning (6.6 seconds) to further reduce the radiation dose to 5 µSv. Universal, high-quality 2D diagnostics with limited emission.
